Sorting sheep
Rettir
Rettir is the collection of the sheep beginning of september and the distribution to the different owners in the region. This event starts on tuesday where all farmers collect the sheep in the many valleys of the fjord. Then on saturday the sheep come all down to the so called 'rettur' where they are sorted out. This spectacle is a once in a year opportunity.
